Reflecting on Picasso quote.

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up."
-Pablo Picasso

I think Pablo Picasso means every child is creative in their own way, but as people grow up and become grownups their creativity can change. When you are a child you want to explore and your imagination is so big. One day you might want to be a pirate or one day you might want to be a princess. As you grow older and become an adult you become wiser and have other ambitions than becoming a pirate or princess.

  1. sydney, do you see wanting to be a pirate or a princess and wanting to be an artist as being in the same category? why do you think we get more serious (which is what i think you're really saying) as we grow up.
